Ratings are adjusted after each UCI race (and many amateur ones).

Being based on the video game Pro Cycling Manager, we rate the riders over 14 attributes such as mountain, flat, sprint, hills, stamina...

In each of those, the ratings go from 50 to 85, as that's the range used by Pro Cycling Manager.

The ratings must be seen as a whole as they work in combination: a rider with very good climbing results but also great ratings elsewhere might have lower climbing ratings than expected because other stats (flat, stamina...) can compensate, etc.

The database includes riders from 160 countries, meaning it includes the smaller cycling nations of the world as well.

Hundreds of the best junior riders are also in, so that you can reach glory with the cycling stars of tomorrow.

All officially announced contract durations are implemented in the database.

Unless specified otherwise by their teams, all continental riders have 1-year contracts because they're usually allowed to break them if they get an offer from a higher division team.

The WorldDB includes all UCI teams and over 100 amateur teams which race at UCI level on a regular basis.

Rosters are regularly updated based on the UCI website.

All jerseys are available thanks to the incredible community of PCM jersey creators.

All races created for PCM by the game's awesome community of stage makers are included in the WorldDB.

On top of that all countries have their national championship.

Some amateur races are also present to fill up the calendar of some continental teams. For a lot of the races, the parcours of several recent editions are available to introduce variation.

About 8.000 riders have a recent, detoured photo shown on their PCM rider profile thanks to the countless hours spent researching them by the WorldDB team.

When combining real and fantasy sponsors, the WorldDB contains almost 1.000 different sponsors with their own jerseys, to create variation in the teams' identities as your career progresses.

In the WorldDB, edits were implemented to reflect the countries each sponsor prioritizes signing riders from.

This is the only database which has almost the same startlist as real life for all races in Career/Pro Cyclist mode.

Almost all teams display their real frame, helmet, wheels and glasses models.

When downloading the WorldDB Equipment pack, it makes for a particularly immersive playing experience.

Including specific systems like some races having intermediate sprint points instead of mountain points;

but excluding things which PCM doesn't allow, such as bonus seconds on top of climbs or doubled points at the highest summits like in the Tour de France.
